Aviation stocks fly high on ATF price cut

Aviation stocks are trading in green after the government cut Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) price by an average of 14.4 percent across India. This is the largest cut in jet fuel prices since November 2008.

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 89.95, up by 0.75 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 91.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 91.50 and Rs 89.70 respectively. So far 835977 shares were traded on the counter.

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 279.95, up by 2.30 points or 0.83 % from its previous closing of Rs. 277.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 280.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 284.40 and Rs. 277.00 respectively. So far 531018 shares were traded on the counter.

Interglobe Aviation is currently trading at Rs. 1173.60, up by 7.85 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 1165.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1180.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1183.35 and Rs. 1168.00 respectively. So far 25105 shares were traded on the counter.
