Hero MotoCorp has called for reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate on two-wheelers from the 28% bracket of ‘luxury goods’ to that of 18% for mass usage items. The company ended last year with record sales of over eighty (rpt) eighty lakh units. This reduction in tax would provide much-needed relief to two-wheeler customers across the country.
