Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar has restored its partial operation and started production at Distillery division at Kinauni in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier in May 2018, a fire incident took place at the company’s distillery division at Kinauni. The company has incurred Rs 15.57 Crore loss due to fire and insurance company has reimbursed Rs 5 crore against the claim.

Bajaj Hindusthan is engaged in the manufacture of sugar. The company is India’s largest ethanol producer and the pioneer of India’s fuel ethanol programme.
