Hindustan Zinc has saw higher metal production in Q3 FY19. The company’s mined metal production stood at 247kt, underground mined metal was up by 38% y-o-y and 6% q-o-q basis.
Further, record refined silver production stood at 178MT, up by 34% y-o-y and 3% q-o-q basis. Record refined lead production stood at 54kt, up by 18% y-o-y and 10% q-o-q basis.
Hindustan Zinc, the world’s second biggest zinc producer, operates the world’s third largest open-pit mine, and world’s largest Zinc Mine in Rampura Agucha, Rajasthan.
