Central Bank of India organizes Mega Credit Camp at Mumbai

Central Bank of India had organized a Mega Credit Camp at Mumbai, on July 31, 2012 for its branches under Mumbai and Thane Region. On this occasion loans worth Rs 139.27 crore were distributed to 390 customers from 94 branches. The customers were also informed about different loan and deposit schemes of the bank.

Earlier, the bank had inked a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Coast Guard for provision of extensive banking services to Coast Guard personnel. The bank had inked MOU on July 30, 2012.

Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank, which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. Central Bank of India holds a very prominent place among the Public Sector Banks on account of its network of 3,656 branches and 178 extension counters at various centers throughout the length and breadth of the country.
