Tata Motors’ arm to halt production for a week at UK plants in April

Tata Motors’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has planned to halt production for a week at its UK plants in April due to Brexit-related disruption.
The temporary production stand-down would take place between April 8 and 12 and affect all three of Jaguar Land Rover's UK car plants, as well as its engine plant.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
