Century Textiles reports 49% rise in Q3 net profit

Century Textiles and Industries has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 49.29% in its net profit at Rs 134.27 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 89.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 7.38% at Rs 957.22 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 1,033.46 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Century Textiles & Industries has a wide portfolio that includes the manufacture of yarn, denim, viscose filament rayon yarn, tyrecords, caustic soda, sulfuric acid, salt, cement and pulp & paper.
