Tata Power reports 67% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Tata Power has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a fall of 50.78% in its net profit at Rs 255.57 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 519.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 6.97% at Rs 2,069.61 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 2,224.76 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 67.42% in its net profit at Rs 204.61 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 628.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 19.69% at Rs 7,721.52 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 6,451.31 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
