Bharat Financial Inclusion registers 45% YoY growth in gross loan portfolio in Q3FY19

Bharat Financial Inclusion has registered a 45% year-on-year growth (8% quarter-on-quarter growth) in its Gross Loan Portfolio to Rs 16,651 crore in Q3FY19 (Rs 11,447 crore in Q3FY18; Rs 15,482 crore in Q2FY19).

The company also registered a 29% year-on-year growth in the number of customers to 85.3 lakh from 66.3 lakh customers in Q3FY18.

Bharat Financial Inclusion (formerly known as SKS Microfinance) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC), regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. The company's mission is to provide financial services to the poor under the premise that providing financial services to poor borrowers helps to alleviate poverty.
