Tata Metaliks inches up on getting environmental clearance for Kharagpur facility

Tata Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 608.30, up by 3.70 points or 0.61% from its previous closing of Rs. 604.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 607.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 616.00 and Rs. 607.10 respectively. So far 1706 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 911.95 on 31-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 545.00 on 11-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 616.00 and Rs. 586.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1542.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.72% and 32.18% respectively.

Tata Metaliks has received Environmental Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India (MoEFCC) for increasing Hot Metal production from 0.50 MTPA to 0.75 MTPA, Ductile Iron Pipe production from 0.30 MTPA to 0.50 MTPA and Castings of 0.1 MTPA at the company's existing facility located at Kharagpur, West Bengal.

The above clearance, received on January 29, 2019, is subject to fulfilment of certain conditions and subsequent State Regulatory approvals.
Tata Metaliks is engaged in manufacturing of pig iron, casting, iron ore fines, coke breeze and limestone. It is a leading pig iron manufacturer and seller in India.
