Vedanta has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.
The company has reported a 7 fold-jump in its net profit at Rs 4,878.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 679.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.08% at Rs 15,740 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 12,893 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 21.06% in its net profit at Rs 1,574.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,994.00 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased marginally by 0.91% at Rs 25,067.00 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 24,842.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
