Lloyds Metals and Energy gains on reporting 18% rise in Q3 net profit

Lloyds Metals & Energy is currently trading at Rs. 12.70, up by 0.05 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 12.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 12.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 12.87 and Rs. 12.60 respectively. So far 48447 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 19.90 on 17-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 11.50 on 28-Jan-2019.

Lloyds Metals and Energy has reported a rise of 17.83% in its net profit at Rs 1.85 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 1.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 14.21% at Rs 108.55 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 126.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Lloyds Metals and Energy is a coal based sponge iron producer. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of sponge Iron and steel, and generation/distribution of Power.
