NHPC has distributed various aids and assistive devices among 202 persons with disabilities during a camp at Dak Bunglow Baramulla.
The aid and assistive devices include six joy stick wheel chairs, eight tricycles, 67 wheel-chairs, 13 CP wheel chairs, 122 hearing aids, 13 MSIED kits, three smart canes, 46 crutches, 54 walking sticks, 10 rollator, one cervical collar, nine artificial limbs and 42 callipars at a total cost of Rs 22.45 lakh.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
