Prabhat Dairy rises on planning to merge subsidiary with itself

Prabhat Dairy is currently trading at Rs. 55.30, up by 2.60 points or 4.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 52.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 55.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 55.30 and Rs. 54.35 respectively. So far 33914 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 196.70 on 14-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 47.15 on 06-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 56.40 and Rs. 47.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 540.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.88% and 38.02% respectively.

Prabhat Dairy is going to consider the merger of Cheese Land Agro (India), a wholly owned subsidiary with the company. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to be held on February 13, 2019, to consider the same.

Prabhat Dairy produces milk and milk products in India. It processes and offers skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, sweetened condensed milk, concentrated milk, cow ghee, dairy whitener, and pasteurized milk in poly pouches.
