Hindustan Copper reports 83% rise in Q3 net profit

Hindustan Copper has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported a rise of 82.66% in its net profit at Rs 34.56 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 18.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.18% at Rs 478.91 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 446.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
