NLC India has registered 60.97 LT of Lignite production for quarter ending December 31, 2018 as compared to 63.05 LT in the corresponding period of FY18. The production was restricted to requirements for power generation and outside sale. The company’s power sale in the reporting quarter was 5,430.78 MU as against 4,992.37 MU in the corresponding period of previous year registering a growth of about 9%.
NLC India is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation. At present, the company has four opencast lignite mines.
