F&O total turnover stood at Rs 8,68,444.29 crore on February 19

Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8,68,444.29 crore on February 19 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,40,21,200.

Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 19,815.53 crore, Stock Futures Rs 43,241.00 crore and Index Options Rs 7,57,875.98 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 47,511.78 crore.

For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.88, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.90 and that of Stock Options was 0.62.

The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Shree Cements (2.50), Cipla (1.80), GMR Infrastructure (1.61), KPIT Technologies (1.57), and Ramco Cements (1.25).

Among most active underlying, Reliance Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.89 million units of Open Interest in the February month futures contract, followed by ICICI Bank witnessing a contraction of 0.37 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 2.62 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, TCS witnessed a contraction of 0.02 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract and Axis Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.20 million units of Open Interest in the February month future contract.
