MGN Agro Properties (MGN) has acquired 4,87,185 (0.33%) Equity shares of Welspun Enterprises on February 21, 2019 from the open market.

Pursuant to the aforesaid acquisition the Promoter of Welspun Enterprises along with Promoter Group have completed creeping acquisition for the financial year 2018-19 by acquiring 73,58,988 shares (including 18,60,000 shares acquired since February 11, 2019).

Welspun Enterprises, formerly Welspun Projects, part of the Welspun Group, is an operating company in the infrastructure business. The company also has investments in Oil & Gas Exploration.
