Mold-Tek Packaging soars on inaugurating new plant at Pudi

Mold-Tek Packaging is currently trading at Rs. 238.00, up by 10.05 points or 4.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 227.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 236.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 240.00 and Rs. 229.95 respectively. So far 3479 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 372.55 on 11-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 201.80 on 20-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 240.00 and Rs. 201.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 662.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.56%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.08% and 41.36% respectively.

Mold-Tek Packaging has inaugurated 9th manufacturing plant at Pudi (Vizag) on February 24, 2019 mainly to cater to the plastic packaging containers requirement of Asian Paints and clients in the East.

Earlier, the company had inaugurated its 8th manufacturing plant at Mysore on February 07, 2019 to supply plastic packaging containers mainly to Asian Paints, Mysore plant requirements and Mondelez.

Each plant initial production capacity is 3000 Mts per annum and it may reach to 7000 Mts per annum by 2022-23. At present peak capacity, these plants can add Rs 120 crore to the top line.
