Kingfisher Airlines declines as LKP Merchant Financing offloads 46.10 lakh shares

Kingfisher Airlines is currently trading at Rs. 8.40, down by 0.23 points or 2.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 8.63 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 8.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8.80 and Rs. 8.37 respectively. So far 4568806 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 32.15 on 10-Aug-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.61 on 08-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9.50 and Rs. 8.37 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 680.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.86% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.30% and 49.84% respectively. 

LKP Merchant Financing continues to sell Kingfisher Airlines’ stake and has sold another 46.10 lakh shares for over Rs 4 crore through an open market transaction. The company offloaded 46.10 lakh equities of the airline at a price of Rs 8.79 per share, valuing the deal at Rs 4.05 crore.

On August 6, LKP Merchant Financing offloaded 53.41 lakh shares of the debt-laden carrier for nearly Rs 5 crore. In previous month, the company sold around 3 crore shares of Kingfisher Airlines.
