IL&FS Engineering secures two power projects worth Rs 142.17 crore

IL&FS Engineering and Construction has secured two power projects worth Rs 142.17 crore from ITPCL and HVPNL. The company has bagged the first order worth Rs 115 crore project from IL&FS Tamil Nadu Power Company (ITPCL), Cuddalore for supply and erection of 400 kV DC transmission line. This line connects the Cuddalore thermal power project to Power Grid pooling station at Nagapatnam in Tamil Nadu and is expected to be completed in 18 months.

The second order worth Rs 27.17 crore was awarded to the company by Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL) for supply, erection and commissioning of 132 kV bays on turnkey basis. The scope of the project involves procurement of plant, design, supply and installation of 132 kV substations in Badli, Machraulli, Garnawapi, Bhattu Sotter villages, and 2 nos 132 kV base at 132 kV substations in Beri and Aherwan villages on a turnkey basis. The project is expected to be completed in 12 months.

IL&FS Engineering is engaged in infrastructure development, construction and project management. The company has undertaken projects in segments such as roads/ expressways/ highways, buildings and industrial structures, irrigation canals and dams and thermal and hydel power.
