Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is reportedly looking to acquire 20.4% stake owned by Cafe Coffee Day founder’s in Mindtree. This acquisition will help the company to expand its software services business. The acquisition of stake could prompt a hostile takeover bid as the company will have to make an open offer to Mindtree's public shareholders to increase its stake to 51%.
L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $18 billion in revenue.
