Jindal Cotex has transferred its entire shareholding of its loss making wholly owned subsidiary -- Jindal Specialty Textiles by way of disinvestment to Jindal Technotex, one of the company belonging to promoter group on arm's length basis. The consideration received for such sale is Rs 4.95 crore.
Jindal Cotex engages in the manufacture and sale of synthetic, cotton, and blended yarns. The company offers acrylic, polyester, polyester-viscose, cotton, and polyester cotton combed and carded yarns.
