SpiceJet flies high on launching 28 new flights

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 99.00, up by 1.25 points or 1.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 97.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 98.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 100.00 and Rs. 98.05 respectively. So far 594412 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 142.00 on 10-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 60.60 on 04-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 100.80 and Rs. 91.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5919.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.05% and 29.93% respectively.

SpiceJet has launched 14 new flights under the government’s UDAN scheme, connecting the un-served market of Jharsuguda and the underserved markets of Kishangarh and Lakhimpur to key metros and cities across the country.

The airline has also launched 14 other direct flights connecting metros and non-metros on domestic routes.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
