Bandhan Bank gets CCI’s nod for scheme of amalgamation

Bandhan Bank has received approval from Competition Commission of India (CCI) for scheme of amalgamation with GRUH Finance. CCI has approved the same in the meeting held on April 15, 2019. Earlier, the bank has received the approval of board of directors on January 07, 2019 for the same.

Bandhan Bank is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Bandhan, which started as a micro-finance company in 2001, received banking licence by Reserve Bank of India in 2014.
