Hero MotoCorp, two-wheeler major has introduced 125cc Hero Ignitor in Hyderabad. The company is planning to launch several other models in the near and medium term but refrained to get into the details.
The new vehicle is priced at Rs 56,996 and Rs 59,031, respectively, ex-showroom in Hyderabad for two variants. The new bike comes in four colours of Pearl White, Sports Red, Vibrant Blue and Panther Black.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 10.32% in its net profit at Rs 615.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 557.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 9.95% at Rs 6247.28 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 5681.73 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
