Lumax Industries reports 20% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Lumax Industries has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019. 

The company has reported a fall of 35.08% in its net profit at Rs 12.14 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 18.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 21.17% at Rs 441.41 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 559.92 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 19.63% in its net profit at Rs 14.25 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 17.73 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY18. Total consolidated income of the company fall 21.17% at Rs 441.41 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 559.92 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has posted a rise of 69.83% in its net profit at Rs 107.40 crore as compared to Rs 63.24 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased 10.38% at Rs 1,876.97 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,700.45 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 45.45% in its net profit at Rs 103.79 crore as compared to Rs 71.36 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 9.80% at Rs 1,862.98 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,696.65 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
