CESC has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019.
The company has reported a rise of 9.19% in its net profit at Rs 309 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 283 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 6.37% at Rs 1,734 crore for Q4FY19 as compared Rs 1,852 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2019, the company has reported a rise of 8.83% in its net profit at Rs 937 crore as compared to Rs 861 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally decreased by 0.44% at Rs 7,919 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7,954 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 22.87% in its net profit at Rs 1,198 crore as compared to Rs 975 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company marginally increased by 3.24% at Rs 10,868 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10,527 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
