Tata Motors rides high as its arm launches latest version of petrol variant of Range Rover Sport

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 177.15, up by 0.55 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 176.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 177.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 178.80 and Rs. 174.90 respectively. So far 384084 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 317.00 on 23-May-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 141.90 on 08-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 191.95 and Rs. 170.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 50802.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.41% and 15.01% respectively.

Tata Motors’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the latest version of petrol variant of Range Rover Sport in the country, priced at Rs 86.71 lakh (ex-showroom).

Available in S, SE & HSE trim, the new model is powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger that delivers a power output of 221 kW and 400 NM of peak torque.
