Further, S. P. Mehrotra, non-executive and independent director, who was liable to retire by rotation and eligible for reappointment, did not seek re-election at the AGM. Therefore, he ceased to be a director at the AGM on July 20, 2012 and S. Srikanth has been appointed as independent and non-executive director at the AGM held on July 20, 2012.
