Mangalore based Karnataka Bank has bagged one more national award. This time, the bank has been the 'runner ups' for the Best Banker for Customer friendliness category among the midsized banks.
Recently, the bank was planning to increase its existence in the eastern region by inaugurating 504th branch of the bank in the country at Bhubaneswar in Odisha on June 18, 2012. In the current financial year, it is also likely to add 50 more branches.
Currently, it has presence in six eastern states that are, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
