GE Power shines on securing contract worth Rs 738.3 crore from Aravali Power Company

GE Power India is currently trading at Rs. 924.00, up by 39.50 points or 4.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 884.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 925.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 930.40 and Rs. 914.45 respectively. So far 1636 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 933.00 on 20-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 666.00 on 11-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 930.40 and Rs. 866.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5946.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.57% and 13.46% respectively.

GE Power India has been awarded a contract worth Rs 738.3 crore by Aravali Power Company, a Joint venture company of NTPC, Haryana Power Generation Company and Indraprastha Power Generation Company. The contract is for Design, Engineering, Civil Work, Supply, Erection and Commissioning of Wet FGD systems along with auxiliaries like Limestone and Gypsum Handling System and Wet Stack on full turnkey basis.

GE Power India is engaged in the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and servicing of power plants and power equipment.
