Tata Motors shines on launching AMT versions of compact sedan Tigor

Tata motors is currently trading at Rs. 160.70, up by 1.85 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 158.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 159.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 160.95 and Rs. 158.90 respectively. So far 231740 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 312.65 on 19-Jun-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 141.90 on 08-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 172.00 and Rs. 158.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46168.71 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.37% , while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.41% and 15.01% respectively.

Tata Motors has launched automated manual transmission (AMT) versions of its compact sedan Tigor with price starting at Rs 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company has introduced two variants under its Tigor AMT range - XMA and XZA+, priced at Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 7.24 lakh, respectively. The two new trims will be offered with a 1.2 litre petrol engine.
