Delta Corp slips despite reporting marginal rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Delta Corp is currently trading at Rs. 165.40, down by 0.65 points or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 166.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 167.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 168.75 and Rs. 164.25 respectively. So far 32950 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 282.10 on 31-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 155.50 on 17-May-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 176.80 and Rs. 162.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4481.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.83% and 40.39% respectively.

Delta Corp has reported a rise of 52.99% in its net profit at Rs 43.77 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019, as compared to Rs 28.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.08% at Rs 133.27 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 115.81 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a marginal rise of 2.58% in its net profit at Rs 42.48 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 41.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company marginally decreased by 0.40% at Rs 194.72 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 195.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
