Tata Metaliks slips on reporting 35% fall in Q1 net profit

Tata Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 556.15, down by 24.95 points or 4.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 581.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 564.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 564.35 and Rs. 541.00 respectively. So far 7957 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 754.40 on 30-Aug-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 545.00 on 11-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 596.95 and Rs. 541.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1559.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.52 % and 28.42 % respectively.

Tata Metaliks has reported 35.44% fall in its net profit at Rs 19.62 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 30.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 7.34% at Rs 503.43 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 469.02 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Tata Metaliks is engaged in manufacturing of pig iron, casting, iron ore fines, coke breeze and limestone. It is a leading pig iron manufacturer and seller in India.
