Karur Vysya Bank has reported 58.83% rise in its net profit at Rs 72.92 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 45.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank marginally increased by 3.83% at Rs 1,762.37 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 1,697.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 9.17%, as compared to 7.44% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 4.94% in Q1FY20.
