Karnataka Bank trades higher on the bourses

Karnataka Bank is currently trading at Rs. 83.50, up by 1.65 points or 2.02% from its previous closing of Rs. 81.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 82.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 84.30 and Rs. 81.40 respectively. So far 5, 38,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 112.45 on 17-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 64.00 on 29-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.10 and Rs. 80.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,572 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.95% and 81.05% respectively.

Karnataka Bank has been conferred with ‘The I.B.A. Banking Technology Awards 2011’ instituted by Indian Banks Association. The bank has been adjudged as the 2nd Runner up under ‘Best Risk Management & Security Initiative’ and also the 2nd Runner up under ‘Best Financial Inclusion Initiative’ in the category of Private Sector Banks.
