Country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has reported a 11.88 percent fall in sales at 4,43,801 units in the month of August as compared to 5,03,654 units sold in August 2011.
The company’s cumulative sales of Hero MotoCorp in the period April - August 2012 stood at 2570310 units compared to 2524267 units of two-wheelers in the same period previous year.
Recently, the company had launched the Maestro scooter and the 125cc Ignitor that have been received well by customers and are also generating volumes across markets. Hero MotoCorp has a list of motorcycles and scooters.
