Revenue Department levies Rs 10.40 lakh penalty on Indian Overseas Bank

The Financial Intelligence Unit India, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India has levied a penalty on Indian Overseas Bank of Rs 10.40 lakh for delay in filing of certain threshold based reports.  The Bank has taken necessary measures to strengthen internal controls to avoid such recurrence.
