UCO Bank’s net loss narrows to Rs 601 crore in Q1

UCO Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2019.

The Bank has reported net loss of Rs 601.45 crore for the quarter under review against net loss of Rs 633.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased marginally by 1.97% at Rs 4,446.61 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 4360.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal improved to 24.85%, as compared to 25.71% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 8.98% in Q1FY20.
