SpiceJet is planning to induct 5-10 Boeing 737 NG aircraft and 3 Q400 aircraft during October 2019, amid uncertainty over exact time when operations of B737 MAX planes would start.

The company reported its highest-ever quarterly profit of Rs 261.7 crore in the three months ended June.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
