Central Bank of India trades in green on the BSE

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 66.20, up by 0.25 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 65.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 65.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 66.20 and Rs. 65.50 respectively. So far 14726 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 111.80 on 14-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 63.00 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 66.80 and Rs. 63.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4825.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.48% and 7.37% respectively.

Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has revised its deposit rates payable on foreign currency non-resident (FCNR)-B deposit with effect from September 01, 2012. 

The Bank will now offer interest of 3.03% for US Dollar deposit of 1 year to less than 2 years, 3.87% for US Dollar deposit of 5 years, 4.07% for GBP deposit of 5 years, 3.98% for Euro deposit of 5 years, 4.67% for Canadian Dollar deposit of 5 years & 6.50% for Australian Dollar deposit of 1 year as well as for 5 years.

Besides, on NRE Rupee deposits the bank will offer 9.30% (tax free) interest for single deposit of Rs 15 lakh to below Rs one crore from 1 year to less than 3 years period and up to less than Rs 1 crore for 555 days.
