Urja Global slips on withdrawing agreement with Nippon Shinyaku in Japan

Urja Global is currently trading at Rs. 2.25, down by 0.08 points or 3.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 2.33 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2.38 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2.38 and Rs. 2.22 respectively. So far 143593 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4.99 on 30-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1.60 on 08-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2.59 and Rs. 2.22 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 114.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.91 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.78 % and 67.30 % respectively.

Urja Global has terminated agreement with Nippon Shinyaku Company, Japan. The company had entered into agreement with Nippon Shinyaku, for supply of product i.e. Zacobite for the five years. According to the agreement, the company will supply the product only when 100% advance payment will be received from Nippon Shinyaku.

The Company had not received any payment till now from Japan Company, due to which there is no supply of products have been done till date. The company has terminated agreement to avoid any further misunderstanding between the stakeholders and the company.

Urja Global is a non-renewable and renewable energy developer and operator. It is engaged in design, consultancy, integration, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of off-grid and grid connected solar power plants.
