SAT sets aside penalty of Rs 3 lakh levied on Central Bank of India

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has set aside a penalty of Rs 3 lakh levied by markets regulator SEBI on Central Bank of India for the violation of debenture trustee norms. The tribunal let off the lender on censure for the violations.

Central Bank of India is a commercial bank. The bank’s segments include Treasury Operations, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking and other Banking business.
