NLC India surges on commissioning 95 MW capacity of Solar PV power plant in Tamil Nadu

NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 57.60, up by 1.45 points or 2.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.75 and Rs. 56.65 respectively. So far 9165 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 85.50 on 17-Oct-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 49.15 on 29-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.75 and Rs. 53.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7973.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.41% and 3.69% respectively.

NLC India has successfully commissioned 95 MW capacity of the 109 MW Solar PV power plant at Avathandai, Veppankulam, M. Pudukulam and Kadamangalam Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in Tamil Nadu, out of 709 MW solar power projects awarded by TANGEDCO. The commercial operation has been declared with effect from September 6, 2019. With this addition, the total installed Renewable Energy capacity of company has exceeded 1 GW.

NLC India is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation.
