NHPC has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for R&D collaboration with IIT Kanpur. This Memorandum of Agreement has been signed with IIT Kanpur for availing the services of IIT Kanpur as Consultant for undertaking research and advisory studies within its expertise for ongoing and future activities of NHPC within and outside the country.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
