Axis Bank inches up on raising Rs 12,500 crore via QIP

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 700.20, up by 0.10 points or 0.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 700.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 701.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 705.90 and Rs. 692.80 respectively. So far 129387 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 826.55 on 06-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 534.15 on 26-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 736.00 and Rs. 683.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 197908.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 66.30% and 15.58% respectively.

Axis Bank has raised Rs 12,500 crore through qualified institutional placement (QIP) to fund business growth. The transaction was anchored by several large marquee foreign portfolio investors, domestic mutual funds and insurance companies.

Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. The bank offers the entire spectrum of services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, SME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
