Thirumalai Chemicals has temporarily shut down plants at Ranipet unit. At company’s Ranipet unit, due to very heavy rainfall in the past few days, the offsite/water treatment plants were upset and could not be operated satisfactorily. The plants will be re-stabilized and start production in a few days. This would not be expected to materially affect the business of the company as the company has adequate stocks.
