GMR Infrastructure’s arm planning to divest entire stake in subsidiary

GMR Infrastructure’s subsidiary -- GMR Energy (GEL) has entered into exclusive discussions with JSW Energy (JSW) for potential divestment of its entire stake in its subsidiary company, GMR Kamalanga Energy, which owns and operates a 1050 MW thermal power plant in Odisha. Both GEL & JSW intend to conclude these discussions in an expeditious manner.

GMR Infrastructure is engaged in generation of power, mining and exploration activities, development of highways, infrastructure development, such as development and maintenance of airports and special economic zone; construction business, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting activities and operation of airports and special economic zones.
