SBI launches debit card EMI facility for point-of-sale customers

State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a debit card Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) facility for its point-of-sale customers. Under this facility, consumers can opt for a monthly instalment tenure of 6 to 18 months. The instalments will begin a month after the transaction is complete. All customers having a clean financial and credit history are eligible for availing the loans.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
